Stoermer History

Stoermer Equipment Co.
Established 1980

Stoermer Equipment Co. was founded in 1980 to supply institutional and Industrial Clients with steam plants and comfort conditioning. Our goal then, and now, is steady growth through quality products and expert service.

Through the 80’s and 90’s our growth was constant. Our affiliation with mechanical equipment manufacturer’s that shared our commitment to quality and customer support was key to our expansion. Among our industrial clients that benefited from our strategic relationships were such major firms as Procter and Gamble, General Electric, Ford Motor, American National Can, Mead Paper, Delta Airlines, Ross Labs and Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.

In addition to comfort cooling and HVAC projects we handled major steam and central utility projects. The scopes of supply ranged from boiler and feedwater systems for heating, all the way to full scale cogeneration projects and central chilling equipment as well as heat recovery boilers, SCR and CO emission control and monitoring systems. During that period of time Stoermer Equipment Co. had three major cogeneration projects and twelve (12) steam plant projects that were completed on time and in budget. Many schools and commercial buildings enjoy the quality and comfort of our mechanical systems.

Most projects required close coordination with consulting engineers or the in-house engineering departments of our industrial clients. Our broad offering lets us select the best equipment for a given application.

Because of our ability to deliver smooth and professionally executed projects, we established ourselves as a major industry player and became an ideal candidate for a merger and acquisition.

R. G. Anderson History

R. G. Anderson Co.
Established 1962

The late Roger G. Anderson founded the R.G. ANDERSON COMPANY in 1962. Established as a Manufacturer's Representative, R.G. Anderson Company supplied a variety of products to the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Industry.

Our association with McQuay International, Modine Manufacturing, Vulcan Radiator, Blender Products, and many of our current manufacturers can be traced back to the early 1960's. The types of projects that R. G. Anderson Company were involved in over the past 40 years encompasses a vast array of buildings throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area. These projects included all the major hospitals, which were air conditioned by retrofitting old cast iron radiators with packaged terminal air conditioners.

R. G. Anderson Company was the first equipment supplier to promote and pioneer the decentralized water source heat pump system in the area. Today, the R. G. Anderson Company is responsible for over 300 projects with an installed tonnage of more than 60,000 tons.

The R. G. Anderson business philosophy of gaining trust and developing personal relationships with our customers has helped maintain our goal of supplying dependable products, outstanding service, and total respect. This philosophy has helped us grow and continue to serve our customers quickly and accurately over the past 40 years. We look forward, as Stoermer-Anderson, Inc., to being the answer to all our customer's questions for the next 40 years and beyond.
